The Mystery of Cop Alley
Beside number 120 Fishpool Street lies a narrow alley connecting Fishpool Street to Mount Pleasant via Offa Road. Today it is known as Cock Alley and many believe it was named after the old Cock and Flowerpot Inn at number 120. However, older residents often referred to the alley as Cop Alley.
