One of Fishpool Street’s young guns has returned from university and is looking to help school students get to grips with maths and physics at GCSE and A-level.

Hal Mellen, who lives at number 85, has graduated with a first-class degree in both subjects from the University of Bristol and is now studying for a postgraduate degree at UCL.

He is asking for anyone who needs a maths or science tutor for GCSE to A-level maths and science to get in touch.

Hal has experience in teaching across multiple syllabuses and is looking to take on more students in the local area.

“Having grown up on Fishpool Street, I’m back at home with mum and dad – Joe and Angela – whilst I study a postgraduate degree in planning and urban design.

“At this time I’m looking to tutor in order to earn some money to make ends meet. If anyone is interested in GCSE to A-level maths or science tutoring, please get in touch with me.

“I hold previous experience in tutoring across multiple syllabuses and can teach effectively online.”
