BEAT THE DEADLINE TO SIGN TRAFFIC PETITION
Fishpool residents are urged to sign an e-petition calling for the permanent pedestrianisation of George Street and Market Place before the deadline of Friday, 15 January. The petition proposes new diverted school bus routes and the introduction of weight and height restrictions in the surrounding roads as part of a new traffic plan for the city centre. CHRISTMAS COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The Christmas spirit blazed along the length of Fishpool Street this year making it an incredibly tough choice for the judges of our Best Dressed Home Competition. So much ingenuity and artistry was shown by residents up and down the street that they felt the originally promised two prizes would not be enough. After much deliberation they decided to award prizes in six categories: Most impressive display - No 80 (pictured above) Best wreath – No 137 Best lighting – No 196

DECK-THE-DOORS CHRISTMAS COMPETITION
Enter our competition and help the spirit of Christmas sweep along Fishpool Street by hanging door wreaths or adorning your front windows with sparkling festive displays. Hang up or hang out your decorations in whatever form excites you, or in whatever ways you think may impress the judges! NEW VISION FOR STREET
The regulation of commercial deliveries to the hours between 7am and 10pm was agreed as part of a new, updated version of A Vision for Fishpool Street at the 2020 AGM. Also signed off by FSRA members was a new long-term goal to press for alternative stopping zones to be found for school buses outside the conservation area.
